Vancouver Mining Exploration Group
The Vancouver Mining Exploration Group (M.E.G.) is a non-profit organization directed by mining, exploration and government representatives. The M.E.G. exists to promote the sociable exchange of geological and technical information at a series of luncheon meetings held during the traditional 'off season' (fall through spring of each year). The meetings feature talks on new discoveries, breaking developments and deposit descriptions. The M.E.G. was founded in 1957 and has served as a model for at least three similar groups in Calgary, Kamloops and Smithers.The Vancouver MEG luncheon talks are finished for the season.
We start the new season in October 2010.
